New Checkout Page Field and Product Sorting Feature + Other Updates

We are excited to announce a couple of new features today…

New Checkout Page Field

Introducing the Special Instructions Box… The checkout page now comes with a new field. This field allows buyers to provide any special instructions they may have for their order.

The Special Instructions Box field can be turned on/off per store within the Store Settings under Store Appearance.

Choose the Default Product Sort

Now our sellers are not limited to the “alphabetical” sorting that was previously programmed as the default setting.

Default Product Sort choices now include:

Alphabetical
Lowest Price
Highest Price
Newest First
Oldest First

To choose the Default Product Sort choice (per store), navigate to the Store Settings area to find the sort feature within the Store Appearance.

Miscellaneous

As with all upgrades, we’ve fixed some bugs in our code and made a few performance enhancements.

Coming Soon

We’ve got two large features (Content Share and Marketplace) scheduled to release this fall.

How do we handle customers outside the U.S. I have 3 that can not make a purchase. India, Cyprus, and Jamaica. One possible issue is the State code. I have them put Texas as the default. But even then their credit card is refused.

My work around has been to have them email me the information (most are quite reluctant to do so) and then post it from another merchant account system we have.

Any ideas?
