Automated Recurring Billing, Support Articles + Other Updates

This past month, we have been busy adding a few new features, as well as making some adjustments to our existing features. Below is a list of all the new “stuff.”

Enjoy!

Recurring Billing Now Available with Stripe.com Processing

For the users of Stripe, who accept single payments but want to start accepting recurring payments, this is now a possibility.

During the subscription setup process, and when the payment processor of choice is Stripe, users will see our Automated Recurring Billing as an available option when choosing a Renewal Type.

Content Shelf’s Automated Recurring Billing feature will communicate with Stripe.com and will execute the processing each time the subscriber reaches the renewal date of their subscription.

In addition to Stripe.com, our other Automated Recurring Billing vendors include: TrustCommerce w/ Citadel and Authorize.net w/ Customer Information Manager.

Support Articles

We are excited to announce the launch of our Support Articles Database. Users will now be able to review answers to many questions within the dashboard as it pertains to using the Content Shelf System (kind of like an FAQ section).

We’ll be adding to the Support Articles Database as fast as we can so that all information is at our users’ fingertips should they need it.

Support Articles are located within the Support area.

Microsite™ Page Names

Our clients will no longer have to see random numbers assigned for page names when using our MicroSite™ feature.

Now, users can assign specific page names, which will greatly help with Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

When building out the MicroSite™ page, simply name the page and save. It’s that easy!

Automated Alerts

If an alert pertinent to our user’s account requires attention, it will be shown automatically via a popup notification.  Each individual user can then choose to dismiss or ignore these alerts.

Subscription Cancellation Notification

Users who offer subscription services will now see each and every time a Subscriber manually cancels their subscription via an automated email.

On-Page Tutorials Update

Within the User Dashboard, small circles with the letter “i” in the center indicate an On-Page Tutorial. Each On-Page Tutorial (OPT) provides insight into the specific area of the dashboard it is located in. Previously, this information was accessible by hovering over the small “i”; however, now all OPTs are clickable and stay open until our users close them, making them much easier to read.

Easy View Store Images

All store images that represent inventory items are clickable to show a larger view. With this latest update, users can move between multiple large images without closing out of the large image view, saving clicks.

Vimeo Social Media Apps Badge

We’ve added the ability to add Vimeo accounts to the Social Media Apps area within the Store Settings. Once the link is added, the Vimeo badge will be seen at the bottom of the store and checkout pages.

More Coming Soon

We have been hard at work adding navigation features for Content Share and Marketplace. While we can’t discuss in detail, yet, know that these features are coming soon and are absolutely fantastic!

Thanks for the continued feedback and suggestions. We appreciate it and we’re listening.
