New Shipping Module Platform

In preparation for integrating with real-time shipping applications like FedEx, UPS, and USPS, we have launched a completely new and improved shipping module platform. With this shipping module, our clients will be able to manage each store with the following shipping controls:

Multiple Shipping Methods

Content Shelf clients can now create custom shipping method names like “Next Day” or “Priority” based on their country or region. This flexibility allows our clients to create as many shipping methods as they like, as well as edit and sort as needed.

Unique Calculations Rules

This shipping control allows our clients to give each shipping method a unique set of calculations, including Flat Rate, Tiered by Order Weight, and Tiered by Order Subtotal.

Inventory Level Overrides

Our clients now have the ability to override each shipping method at the inventory/item level with item specific flat rate pricing, should it be needed.

Real Time Calculations Ready

Although real-time shipping calculations from FedEx, UPS, and USPS are not quite ready to go live, we’ll be working on them diligently. Know that with this upgrade we are that much closer.
